As defacto President (COO and CFO) of Smart Solutions, an IT Solutions Provider — with subsidiaries in Software/SaaS and eCommerce — Dale provided operational and financial leadership during a period of immense growth and profitability. Dale has also spearheaded multiple acquisitions and spin-offs, handling due diligence, legal, regulatory, and government compliance aspects. Dale ultimately worked closely with ownership and investment bankers to facilitate the successful sale of the company, and was instrumental in integrating the two companies post-acquisition to ensure consistency of vendor relationships, staff, and information systems.

In addition to his C-suite leadership roles, Dale has consulting and start-up experience performing market validation and commercialization strategies, valuations, forecasts and projections, and strategic plans. Dale also has experience sourcing and evaluating potential acquisitions, structuring deal terms, and developing cash-flow projections for potential debt and equity partners.  He has an MBA from the Weatherhead School of Management with concentrations in marketing and information systems, and a BBA from Kent State University with a double major of Accounting and Business Management.

Dale enjoys spending time with his family, hiking, performing and listening to music, and giving back to the community through serving on advisory boards, mentoring students and entrepreneurs, and volunteering.
